Hey mate I've brought a couple of reels( 2500,3000) as cheepies, mate they are really cheap, they break or they sieze up very quickly, IMO don't do it, spend alittle bit more coin you'll thank your self later.

haha yes, i got a 24kg roller tip boat rod, and to be honest i cant fault it, have tried snapping it and i simply cant, i also got a 7ft 3-4kg (or close to) rod was pretty average was very stiff and it snapped when i gave it a little bend, as for there reels, id stay away from them, the drag system is cr*p the level winder broke on the 2nd use its rattley and the free spool woks sometimes... so i threw it in the bin

Ive got a 24kg roller tip rod and its as good as any fibreglass cheap boat rod caught big fish on it and still going strong.

The key to ebay fishing gear is to take your time researching before you buy.

There are some good deals hidden amongst all the shit, but at the end of the day with a reel you get what you pay for.
