Good Tailor
Like hookedon, I haven't fished it for a few years.
Used to be good for some big green backs though. I found the little sand whitting worked well as bait.
Recently I heard (don't know if it's true) that council in its ultimate wisdom has banned 4x4's on the beach these days.
You might want to check.

Pipeline
4WDs are banned on the beach and also part of the beach near the Alkimos is closed due to the pipeline works. Pippindinny is better option as you can park in the dunes up from the beach and good rock platform to fish from.

yer good luck finding the
yer good luck finding the wreck last time i was out there was just before they finished marmion, the wrecked had all but dissapierd, try the beaches north of two rocks ive seen sharks been caught there and some good size tailor and massive herring in fact some are bigger then the tailor, lol. yer try there if ya got a 4x4.
last trip to wilbinga (north two rocks) there were 4 of us fishing and we bagged about 30 herring ranging from 25-35, and caught at least 50-60. only 4 tailor were caught though but herring good fun with unweighted pilchards on 3/0 gangs, but expect to get double hook ups, my younger brother caught 2 herring on one set of gangs. lol wicked fishing, awsome drive and good family fun.
enjoy
p.s take a friend the beach can be soft
