Abalone

So - Who got into the abalone on the weekend? We got a good feed - cooked them up last night in flour and chilli salt. Bloody tasty with a couple of beers, bit of a pain in the arse to clean though. I'll put some pics up tonight.

We did a few like that till but I gotta say they are really good with the flour and chilli. Little bit of hoisin as dipping sauce also.

the wife is a Kiwi - last night she made Paua fritters using Abalone instead - bliss! We are headed back for more on Saturday.

I think Abs and Paua
are exactly the same thing except the wife says being from NZ paua are better - perhaps thats where the old name of Muttonfish came from.

bash the living hell out of
bash the living hell out of them with a meat mallet. then mix flour and curry spice. flour abs and grill...simple...Dont overcook. salt/pepper
