27meg to vhf

So my 27meg is cooked and going to replace it. I hear some areas don’t cover 27meg anymore so see no point it just replacing the unit. Any recommendations on which vhf is ideal for a 5m quinny and who has the bast deals.

Thanks Matt

Yep, go VHF, Check Whitworths, they have a good range and fair prices.

I’ve had a bit of a look online at what they have. Pretty good range. Wanting to be able to get everything in one place as aerial etc will need to be replaced. Will go have a look on the weekend at what they have.

I prefer VHF...just remember that to operate legally, you need a VHF licence.
