20KG Dhuie

Well its been a long time but got back into a 20kg fish. Gave a great fight, had me on edge all the way to the top. Had called a sambo ,and a ray .not bad on light gear.
Also had a dolphin come to the boat for a look .was happy to get a feed of fresh snook and mackrel

No the current was fine but the fish were very slow , got four dhuies two released,and one small sambo.,still stoked with this one .

Yes late around three ,second last drift ,we droped one on the next drift .But we were very happy with one .

yes we have only one large fillet left of dhuie in the freezer come on next month, boats goes in for a service on Wednesday, hopefully get the winch motor back and off we go next month, yahooo

Great fish Paul , yesterday wasnt a bad day out on the water , there isnt many days in the middle of winter that get that calm and clear conditions and looking at some of other boats on the ramp the fish were on the chew after the storm

We had the fisheries on the ramp they said we had done the best and there was only 10 boats left on the water , seemed to be a very slow day for those fishing up ths way.
