Heard of barra in the Ashburton, they're no where near as common as they are in Karratha but they are there.
Not too sure about threadfin, WAngler lists Giant threadfin distribution from Karratha northwards so you probably wouldn't find too many in the Ashburton.
Yeah I didn't think they would be in there but on the upside I believe there's plenty of big Giant Herring in the salt ponds as well some big jacks in Beadon Creek.
