6-7kg
We had scales that were pretty dodgy and the wind was blowing us all over the shop, but it read between 6 and 7kg which seemed about right.

It was just over the 70cm mark Jay, think it was 72. But it was a fat bugger as you can see when its side by side with the red in the other photo. I'd never caught a legal sized trout before, always juniors, so was very stoked to cross it off the list.
Haven't done any jigging at all Sam. Lost the jigging vibe lately and am loving the soft plastics on the light gear. The trout was taken on bait (chinaman cod) and was very lucky as about 2 minutes before I had something else steam train me and take my bottom hooks (busted off) which I think was another large trout. Couldn't believe how hard it went for 18m of water.

That's a very nice trout
That's a very nice trout anywhere Adam. They can fight surprisingly hard when they're still within 5 metres of the bottom.

Nice Trout Adam, normally those bigger ones only take a straight hook so that's a stand out catch!
