Good work Bruiser and Adam.

Really feel close to the action when your catching billfish from tinnies.

Thanks guys. An amazing feeling to see it tail walking and be higher out of the water than we were in the tinnie. All in all a great trip up to Exmouth to show Mr Fishwrecked himself how a couple of white haired wood ducks can perform when challenged. Why he keeps denying where he learnt to fish upsets me but not as upset as he was when I landed it on his dodgy rig (naturally the one he gave me to fish with). Our timing was also great as we headed home just hours before it pissed down and flooded the school holiday campers.
Gotta get back up there again and teach him some more!

Don't get too cheeky old fella, someone had to tell you which way up an overhead reel should be used.

Oi, I remember someone else who was seen using an overhead rod with an egg beater????

Us old codgers have to stick together Bruiser. Top fish mate.

Thanks Andy coming from you I really appreciate it.  Tried to explain to the young fella how bad a burn you get from trying to stop a 40kilo spaniard on a cord line (so long ago we had to keep one eye open for roaming dinosaurs). Anyway while I still make scrambled eggs with an egg beater and put my luggage overhead landing it on his worst combo was bliss.

I knew I should have taken my video camera, just so I could have proved the coaching techniques worked. Ahh well, I'll let you have this round.
