Shinny Makkie!

A happy camper nabbed this Makkie at Steep Point at Xmas 06, I was gaffing it for him when the rope broke at the gaff eye, leaving the cliff gaff on its head like a bad hat! Lowered gaff number 2 down, and got the fish and the other gaff back! Ohh – stress!!.

This chap got it on a lure, not sure what type, blue one though, a bit like a rapala CD18, but had an orange coloured belly.
