Pulled the scales down to about 10.5kg's, we were about 20 miles out of bunbury yesterday and then the swell got ugly and boy did i shit meself, nearly had a wave come over the side and nearly flipped us it took about 2 hours to get back to the ramp it was scary tuff but thanx to me mate DR we got home safe.. Thanx Doc!!! the lure of the day by a long shot (it caught all four fish) was a Pink macky bait in the medium size, i had it in the water for no more than two min's and BANG!! Stoked

it was crazy, we got carried
it was crazy, we got carried away in the excitement but certainly a lesson learned!
We were headed out to a dhuie spot and noticed how many mutton birds were around and chucked a few lures out.

Solid fish
Well done Nealez, they are very nuggety fish that size, would have taken a nice big first run I'm sure.
20 miles into rough seas, that's not something I want to contemplate. Congrats on the skipper getting you back safe and sound. we had two waves wash completely over the bow on Sunday, thank god for clears.
