Don't know what you boys think but I can't see any winners in that whole scenario.
I'm glad the ban was reinstated, hopefully in future the ban will be flexible and in place until fisheries have been out on the water and done an assessment on what the snapper are up to (hopefully finished spawning).
Glad the sambo aggregations are so far offshore, and their not the greatest eating fish in the world.

i fully agree with big john,how can you say that its enjoying being on top of each other like that? fishing is about fun not always about food, i bet none off them put any back.if i wanted fish to eat i would go and buy some it would probley be cheaper.
went out monday jig some sambo,s thank god that we all put them back, good fun.
thats the only time you know that you can go to the spot and fish for fun. fishing is about getting away from it all 1 or 2 fish for dinner great but when its like this well.........

Nobody said it was enjoyable, I'd say it would be very hard to enjoy that. A very crazy situation and both the anglers and everyone I've come accross so far have said its a great thing its been closed, we are all in agreeance.
