Day of the Dolphinfish - Awesome fishing video

I've only just been able to rip some of the video from Gully's Exmouth trip from earlier this year. This is a very small portion of some of the gold underwater footage that the boys took, theres some brilliant stuff to come. But I'm more than sure that this will wet your appetite for the moment. Enjoy!

Do you need a waterproof camera for the underwater stuff, or is there some kinda casing you can put your camera in?

I just use an ordinary digital video camera and have bought an underwater housing which it fits in.
It is damn good fun and makes for some different footage but when filming out in the middle of the ocean with 150m of water underneath you it can be a little un-nerving at times.

Glad you liked the vid but there is more and better stuff to come

Jay,

Housings for the cameras vary depending on what type of camera you want a housing for and who the manufacturer of the housing is.

There are quite a few who make housings such as wills camera housings, amphibico, etc and prices can range from US $800-$5000+ so can be damn expensive for some of the top of the range ones
