No grabbed these and then picked up 10 whites. Found quit a few whites out in this deeper spot today. One nice hole had heaps backed up in. The crays are still in close but the vis is still crap....

I had my first dive of the season this morning at the back of GI. Went solo today, dropped the pick in shallow, jumped in and grabbed a keeper on the first ledge I looked under. Kept swimming only to find my torch batteries were flat. Used the rest of the tank, found another 6 or so size crays (mix of reds and whites) that I could see without the torch but missed them with the snare. Vis was ok but the crays were mostly on the sand under small ledges. If you didn't get the snare in straight away too much sand puffed up I had no hope. Most were seen in under 5m, within 250m of the island. Couldn't believe how many pots were out there. Got new batteries now, gonna head out either sunday or tuesday.
