Tinnie hire in Busselton???

gents and ladies,
help please??? I'm off to Busselton next week for the week and as I'm towing a caravan down... ( yes I know,,, nasty things vans are, but Mrs T has said no more tents!!!) so that means I can't take the rib down for a bit of a fish.

Any cheap tinnie hire crowds down that way??? lokking for a 3,5~4,2m tinnie with a 15hp that we can bugga around just off shore and catch some fish for the son with. Nothing flash needed.

cheers

Tony

There was a guy next to the Jetty who hired them. Cant remember the name tho.

Would be pretty much what you are after too.

Tony it might be that the jetty fishes so well they found out they dont need boats lol!! Better pack the bike but watch out for the rail tracks. Second thought, walk it instead !

I`d rather be fishin`!!!

Try near Bussel Hwy Turnoff

Wed, 2008-11-26 20:06

Tony,
Not sure if it's the same place Big Kev was talking about but if you can find the name/phone number of the little hardware come servo station on the corner of Bussel Hwy and Newtown Beach Rd (Just near the Bussel Hwy/Caves Rd turnoff). They used to have a couple for hire there. Pretty sure they still had them last February when we were down there.
Maybe one of the locals on here can confirm this for you and pass on the ph number.
Cheers,
David
PS.... Just had a look on Google Street view.... Looks like the petrol bowsers are gone but the sign out front says "Vasse Irrigation". couldn't make out a phone number tho.
PPS.... The bottleshop next door used to have some good specials too Wink

that ones closed Tony - went belly up. Try Neil on 0405 006900 - he has one for hire - and i think it's Mark -  on 0439 979360 - apparently he has several.
