Overhead means that it sits on top of the rod unlike a spinning reel or underslung that sits below the rod.

Well said no wuzzas. In fact theres no such thing in my opinion as an "offshore" reel as we are in modern times and bream combos are going out wide so every thing i own is offshore.

Another question could have been - Is this a Casting reel or Trolling Reel?

Yh is it Casting reel cuz it cast like a under or spin reel or is it only for the boat
