Sunday big fish
Went out from Two Rocks around 6oclock a little fog drifting across the water made things look spooky,we anchord on the three mile and got some fresh whithing for bait, before heading out things started of slow but sone picked up with a nice 15kg dhuie on board.I then picked up a shadow this boat followed me for an hour which slowed things down ,some guys have no idea and can't see anything wrong with the way they fish, DICKHEADS. anyways thats all on that back to fishing we tryed a few other spots with not much happening so headed in close, the last spot of the day and things went of,Jesse got a 10kg dhuie Myself 15.5kg -13kg ended up being a great day with
10 dhuies 4 released 15kg 15.5kg 13kg 10kg 2x5kg
2 breaksea
1 kg whiting
1 sambo 25kg released
1 fox fish
And yes i am busting me ass holding them, as Jesse took his time with the pic.

Looks like the new boat is just as good as the old one at catching fish eh.
My wife said that I looked like someone had died after talking to you on the phone. LOL

Goat caught a jewie 9kg while pulling up his line in mid water! I thought it was those pain in the arse sambos, but nope, totally amazed. first time for everything i spose. Oh by the way, i don't believe in putting baits on lures to make them work! Then they are not a true lure. LOL

Fishead, whilst the fish look big/are big, the reality is you get a small proportion of meat from Dhufish in ratio to their body. I would guess that the fish isn't caught for one sitting perhaps many. I agree with Lyndsay, Paul releases plenty of fish and with his experience he can keep/catch more but doesn't!

Hi ya fish head how you been , your right i couldn't eat all the fish in one sitting.The people i take out fishing all get to take home a good feed of fish. My mum and dad get a feed as they are pensioners and are a bit short of money. I do release alot of fish twice as much as i catch as for new bag and size limits, i would be more than happy to see only one dhuie per person or a mixed bag of three fish per person ,as the law stands i am able to take 21 fish as i had three people on board from my catch i am still well under my daily bag limit. Anyhow your comments are your comments, and you are entitled to them. so happy fishing .

not saying your not a respecable fisherman as you have to be to get those fish! im ust a firm beliver of fresh fish is the best fish. but it sounds like i was barking up the wrong tree sorry mate. i work in the boating industry and am aware that some people take to many fish for there needs. a freezer is no place for a dhuie.
