First string and 8 crabs

Not bad for late season crabbing in Mandurah. All Jennies with one big blue on a subsequent run. Enough for a feed and fun for the kids.
Was good to see the red shirts in force checking catches at the ramps.

Late season
They have all spawned by now and as you can see these jennies were all clean.

feed!
A nice feed there Andy!
I rate the sweeter taste of the female crabs and dont have an issue taking them when the blues aren't about. The fisheries agree that there's a balance that is required also!
