Yes you can drive to it, it
Yes you can drive to it, it is roughly in line with The Blvd (a little north)
You can see the drain here (directly level with Oban Road)

Is a couple of km south of Scarborough. Swanbourne is closer to Cott.

Haven't heard much
the last few days UncleStu. There were reports of some fish near Cottesloe and City Beach late last week.

Hi Unclue Stu
Personally I take two outfits. One spinning set-up to toss out lures. Halco twistys or Nilsmasters. The other rod I bait up with mulies - or even better if you have a live bait use it. Whiting, herring, are all good.
But a lot of it will really depend on your conditions. A day like today would have been great for tossing out lures and unweighted or very lightly weighted mulies. Come Wednesday or Thursday you will need to set up a pateroster rig and a solid sinker to keep your bait in the gutters.
Give Grant St a try. I reckon if there aren't any salmon near thta reef there should be some decent tailor.
