Quobba trip in may. this coulda been my biggest fish fish with the head weighing 8 kg. sorry bout the serious bed hair. couldnt sleep that night. way to excited;)

i was the only one who got a head back over the 2 weeks, dad got 4 or 5 big runs and then when the fish gave up the sharks moved in. but my uncles landed a cobia and just over a meter mackeral. trying to find the pics thoo

Yeah, still persist. If you put in the hard yards - free spooling when a shark is near etc, and you bring it to the surface, you have about 2 seconds to make a gaff shot otherwise the sharks are onto it. Happened a few times to us. Decent yellowfins too.
