Call me old school, but nothing better than spinning up sharkies on lead head jigs. Good honest fish IMO.

its really the smell, if you gill them/bleed them straight away they still have a slight taste but generally just taste fishy to me. Once you cook em ive found most of the smell goes away, if not all of it sometimes.
