Killer fish mate, looks like

Sun, 2008-02-10 14:33

Killer fish mate, looks like you get onto some great Barra action.  Wherever we find Barra over here (east coast)  the crocs are always pretty close by.  Are there no crocs where you are or was that just a moment of insanity?

Got to be happy with that Poddyfish after 12 years hard labour. Ahh the sacrifice.

Haha, yeah I can relate to

Haha, yeah I can relate to the adrenaline bringing on insanity.  I did a similar thing last year with a 98cm fish in a croc infested creek in the Gulf.  Just thinking about it gives me the shivers now though.  One of my mates ended up in the news a few months earlier after getting mouthed by a croc near Thursday Island.  It changed his life,  but didn't stop me from trying to get eaten!
