Lucanus jig mods

The two 150g jigs on the left are rigged with a single SJ41 5/0, the 200g jigs are rigged with a single SJ41 7/0, and the pink 200g jig at the top has a twin 3/0 and 5/0. Assist cord is Varivas #30 150lb.

Is heatshrink a must Jay, or just for looks?

slow steady rise and then drop

keep it slow.

let the jig hit the bottom wind a few turns of the spool then just gently lift-drop.

dont need speed. dont strike let the fish hook itself

or just drop it in the rod holder as you drift.....
