To hold the fish without gloves mate. Tail scoots are sharp aren't they?

Cheers lads,

Congrats, good fish.

Congrats, good fish. Certainly some size to him.

I have some reservations though - 150cm must make him a very tall 14 year old.

How does old GT taste?

I remember seeing you guys at the Exmouth marina filleting tables with that bad boy, I was the guy on the tables before you. I remember something about it being 33kg or something, which looks about right.  It was from Exmouth reef yeh?

not a photo of the month

not a photo of the month contender IMO, nice fish for sure and congrats to the angler, but would have been good to see it released. A backyard shot of a good fish isn't exactly a 'good' shot...

Great fish DJ

Great fish mate. I remember my first big fish up North. A big Queenfish over a metre long. I kept it, ate it and it was great. I've never kept one since but I'll always remeber that big one. I was also 14 at the time. Once again DJ great fish (Some people will never catch a GT that big even though they have all the specialised tackle) Tell us how you caught it....Must be a good story and now that you've got your big one you can be happy letting the next big one go.

I think i told u the story heaps of times and it tasted like chicken for some reason made good curry. And by the time i got it in after a 30min fight it was basically dead so it couldn't have swam away.
