Shag dont now your level of expertise, but most of the good camera stores do a basic SLR coarse(gerry gibs do). You will learn more about your camera in a few hours then you ever will alone. They dont cost much and you will never use the auto mode again. Looking forward to some great photos,no excuses now lol......
