hey steve do you think you might be able to send us your opinions on a few 160 size or there about as well as some oppinions on gt stickbaits 100plus grams. I know you use them a bit, i mainly use chuggers but i want to get into stickbaits a bit more
Thanks guys. Brad it looks like you've been getting a few nice fish with Jay, well done. To be honest I don't use poppers much. Maybe a Haymaker (good as any of the dearer poppers I reckon) or a Fisherman Long-pen (got a couple off Honsu and they work).
I've got a Baby Runboh but never caught anything on it. Haven't used it much though.
I mainly use Carpenter stickbaits, but I understand they are impossible to get (unless you can read Japanese). They do work very well for me, but that's probably because I use them the most. No, I can't get you any unfortunately.
My next favourite would be the Blackjack Ulua. Balance and action is very similar to a Ulua and every time I use one I catch fish. Some people seem to think stickbaits can't be used in rough water. I disagree, just work it slower, like a barra lure - the fish will still find it!
