Chasing some good condition second hand equipment for shark fishing. Looking into buying a shimano tld 50 with a 37kg backbone elite rod but saw the price tag on the reel which scared me off a bit. So if anyone has a good reel (doesn't have to be spooled) in the 50 sizes or above for around the $300 mark or even a combo they're willing to let go of for around the $400 mark I'd be happy to take it off ur hands, otherwise will bite the bullet with new gear.  Also just wondering if 80lb braid will be strong enough to fight those big 12+ foot sharks that seem to be around. I have a feeling it won't be strong enough but can't seem to find any braid above that strength . Located in freo area
