What to target in exmouth
Hi guys, im going up to Exmouth this Thursday for a few days that im free as im on my uni break atm. I will be chasing gt's , red bass trout, macks as im going out with Eddy on Peak Sportfishing, but was wanting some tips on what to chase while land based. Would like to get some jacks, small trevally and quennies if possible. Im taking halco twisties 20 and 30g, halco roosta poppers, richters ,laser pros, duel adagios, plus a nice box of softies (flick baits, shads, wrigglers). Was wondering if this would cover me, as I don't want to take too much stuff. Was thinking of fishing the marina, and heard of some beach spots just south of the lighthouse. Other than that im a bit lost for what to do as its my first time going up there. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Wading the flats on a incoming tide
at Bundegi flicking lures and soft plastics is great fun.
Seen that originally in Fishing WA, cant remember which series, but was when Steve Correia was on. Looked fun so I tried it and had a blast. Small GT, other trevors, queenies, and even got a couple of milk fish. Used bream gear.

just came back from exy. If you go to dunes which is the main surf break early morning with good water there, not low tide, youll find heaps of queenies maulling bait balls on the waters edge. Just use a good silver minow or heavy twisty type lurs and you will have heaps of fun. Dunes is easy to find, head toward the wreck at the point and its the firdt main car park on the left. landbased i allways found the
landbased i allways found the swedish backpackers bearded clams at the potshot to be an excellent target ;p just make sure u stick to the age restrictions -fisheries wont but the cops will get involved
some alcohol as burley, then the short skinny straight hook, might take numerous casts and retrieves for best results
avoid if its got a strong fishy smell
