Update on two rocks ramp

The Two Rocks ramp will be open until the 15th so we are good to fish this weekend .
The old ramp is being ripped out and a new ramp will be put in its place,exstending another 8m into the water allowing for drive on and off.
The ramp will not be made wider as goverment regs state,you need x amount of parking for a single ramp and then more parking if the ramp be made bigger and they don't have the room for more parking bays .No washdaown or toilets at this point in time .They are also fixing the marina rock wall as it is need of repair . So there you have it .I will be out Sunday for a few hours in the morning need to be home for 10 .

Hmmm
Went there this morning and there was a sign on the payment box that said they were closed from the 10th, don't tell me I read it wrong:( had to launch from mindaries and weather wasn't pretty earlier on.

She was open ,rang the
She was open ,rang the marina this arvo and had a chat .Thay decided to fix the rock wall first ,and keep the ramp open till after the weekend.I guess whoever put the sign up is to lazy to take it down.

Thought of launching the boat anyway as the ramp wasn't fenced off, but decided not too......not happy at all. Our first time out from mindaries, didn't know the area at all and the breakers were shocking today with the swell. Ended being a short trip, checked out Gemeni wreck for the first time and pulled up a few sambos.

Just spoke with a lady at the
Just spoke with a lady at the two rocks marina regarding the ramp. she said it was definitely closed. l did mention l had heard conficting info about it being open over the weekend. No closed.

Well I spoke with shane the
Well I spoke with shane the marina manager just before i posted this ,and was told it was open. I will be heading up for a look But I only live 5 miutes away .If you go onto the Two rocks volunteer sea rescue site and click on the carpark camera you will see only the area to the left is closed off to the public. the ramp is still open .There were some boats out yesterday when i looked that was what made me call to check .

Yes they told me open till the ban comes in .Could be a week or so before they do the ramp work.
