Went out from two rocks yesterday headed out round the 25 mile mark plenty fish on sound but not to much biting.moved round alot ended up with 3 baldies 1 size and 1 3 foot bronzie. Did everyone else find not to much being caught.spoke to a couple of guys at the ramp and they were saying not much taking bait but the boat next to them fishing the same ground cleaned up on plastics.

Yeah mate
I still can't walk/stand, so I skippered the old mans boat with a couple of his mates at 2 rocks.
Tried some VERY reliable spots, and they got two 4ft sharks and a couple of Sargent bakers, and that was it for the day. It was bullshit quiet.
Heaps, and I mean HEAPS of tuna schools busting up all he way out though.

Went out 40kms off mindarie sun 5am and had pretty much one of my best days. 3 dhus one 13kg, 2 kg whiting both 53cm, 1 blackbum 51cm, 1 flathead 56cm, 4 swallowtail, 4 sambos, 6 sea sweeps, 1 bronzie 4ft, 1 baldie. did not keep all needless to say. not many people had much luck at the ramp. but im always pretty confident bout my marks.

Very Quiet for us on Sunday
Only managed a KG, a BA as keepers and a couple of undersize dhuies and BA's released. No SB's which was strange. A couple of big bronzies hooked and boatside but not landed. Other than that we had fish on the sounder but nothing biting.
Cheers

Also very quiet for us on Sunday
after spending the night out in the 300m line, only to have the current at 200m ripping
. So came in closer at 4am and picked up a few bits and pieces

we hit Direction Banks also
we hit Direction Banks also on sunday,
loads of schooling small pink snapper about, but no keepers as the they where all in the 30cm range!
Water was very warm and saw quite a few little box-type jelly fish around, not seen that many before.

It takes a strong fish to swim against the current. Even a dead one can float with it
