Turtle Dove shoal

Has anyone fished Turtle Dove shoal recently if so what did you catch ? Looks like a great spot but probably gets hammered by boats from Dongara.

There are some early threads on here about Turtle Dove. Would love to get out there myself but the weather would have to be pretty special!

It's a amazing spot mate! Lots of Macks, YFT An wahoo! If your just after bottom fish you don't need to go all that way. There's plenty of good fish inside it!

not many go out there but it used to get a flogging from wetliners and crayboats setting pots.
I imagine you are thinking billfish, we longlined past there many times, nothing special there over anywhere else along the shelf that I noticed and Abrolhos would be a better bet with shelter and other options to pursue.
Billfish virtually untouched outside the Abrolhos also?
