Talking about a side door?

We use our rear door, works a treat. In conjunction with the rear swim platform, just surf them aboard, works even better on sloppy days than it does on calm. Mind you , havent pulled a tuna aboard weighing for than 20kg, but would be doable to near  100kg, I reckon.  And if you don't have a the space/suitabilty for a transom door, you are stuck with a side door. So yes, it would be down to the individual vessel hull's suitability to have a lot of stiffness removed.
