mate you can get a good ian
mate you can get a good ian miller 3pce raider baitcast rod with a good little carry bag. Only about 120 dollars for an 6kg(i think) rod.
Would couple up well to a Calcutta200B or something like that

I really never notice
I really never notice telescopic rods getting any better, but then I won't buy one either.
These days there are just too many good travel rods around to bother these days. Look at the Loomis, Shimano, Nitros, there are dozens of them.

Check out the new Nitro 007
Check out the new Nitro 007 5pce 7'6'' Distance spins, the action is amazing on this rod, wouldn't even know it has 5 pces..packs down to about 550-600mm long
there is also a 6pce 007 6'6'' that folds down to around 450-500mm long.
Nitro's website should have them to look at..awesome rods check them out!
cheers
