SW Boys Exy Trip
Well been back from Exy for a few days now and thought I would throw up a few pics of our trip. Some have already been individually posted but I thought I put them all together in one post.
The crew consisted of Liam (Lamby or as we like to call him kitten arms), Clint (Feral), Tim (Timmbo) and myself.
Managed to score some great weather and had a ball on and off the water.
Cheers to Adam for arranging the comp. Just one more mate :) Also thanks to Tim for showing us around.
Got to love Exmouth it has such a great variety of fish.
Liam's Goldband. These guys put up a great fight for their size.
Tim's Dolly caught trolling.
Tim's FW comp winning Tuna.
Another Longtail for Liam on the light gear.
Liam's Sailfish that gave him the name "kitten arms". Bet you wished you kept your mouth shut Liam.
Clint with a double header of Ranking
Goldband and Reds
My trout caught in the gulf.
Clint's Saddletail.
The boys with a couple of nice Rankings
Tim's Red.
After Liam's Sail he got subbed out. But sure enough when put back on he caught his second billie for the trip a nice little black.
These guys were everywhere and great fun on the light gear.
Clint's first billfish.
Last day bag out.
Can't wait to do it again.
Cheers
Brendan

Pilbara Is different to SW Mate
Mixed daily bag limit – 7 per angler
HIGH RISK SPECIES
Then there is individual limits like 2 Reds, 2 Coral Trout (some areas one) etc. There is 4 Anglers, I count 24 Fish, not more than 8 reds or trout etc etc. you should check before you ask, this just pisses people off when they are correct. Here is the full Pilbara and Kimberley guide for information.

Sorry SW crew. Just read the rest of the posts and obviously taken care off. Nice pictures and a nice mix. You all would be battling to ONLY have 20kg off fillets. Well done.
Species are generally long-lived, slow-growing, mature at four-plus years, form semiresident
populations, are vulnerable to localised depletion due to their life history, or
are of low abundance or highly targeted

Bag limits
Guys ,bag limits up there it's not 2 demersals per person as it is down here in Perth. I believe it's something like 7 fish each but limits on certain species, not 100 percent sure though
. Top catch though guys.

Sounds like you guys will be going back again. a few first to go with the trip is always a bonus. well done guys

Read up on regs before slinging mud, nobody likes a pocketboxer!
Kitten Arms; well what can I say apart from that is going to get some mileage down here with the boys ( & rightly so) Just you wait fella's a hint of handbags & I am passing this skirt on.... bastards!
Kamo King - we put in some mega hours trolling that day & Seaquest making a lure change hit the mark with the first raise & hook up (got to love that time of day when the light dips) Suprised I didn't crash into you after making an early start on the beers following a permanent sub to the bench. How did you got trolling wise??

great stuff SW boys, good to hang out and fish and play poker. Hopefully see you back here or down south sometime soon.
And as for the bag limit responses, do your research before posting, saying that sort of shit just puts people off putting this stuff up. If you've got a problem with it tell them, not the world.

Lol, some very amusing moments springing to mind!
Doaky & the endless glass of rum, Harro & his crockery camp oven combo... of death, Tiimmbo's sharp one liners & who could forget 'texta wars' Well truthfully I couldn't remember much of that until I picked up the camera the next day!

Had a great time up there and good to fish with you boys, I think the comment at the time of that shot was 'some knobhead is bound to say it is over the limit'. Seems that knobhead showed up pretty early on in this thread to eh.

Pics
I am not sure you would want to see those pics Brad. My eyes have not yet recovered. By the way, the artistic work on the tatts was not the best either. Very funny, had a great time. Funny blokes who know how to fish.
