Stradics!
They are good reels for the dollars. The short answer is yes. Just don't go done the road of thinking heavier braid is better. Fish to recommended PE ratings and she'll do most things for you. Especially good for high speed spinning for tuna etc.

i use a 3000 stradic for
i use a 3000 stradic for snapper on light plastics rod
you could easily light jig with yours as i do with 6000 saragosa
have pulled up good sambo's with it on 30lb braid
not so good for bottom bashing though, prefer overhead myself
If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.

Yeh I use my stradic 6000
Yeh I use my stradic 6000 for a bit of everything. It's caught some big macks, trevally and barra up north and salmon, dhu's, snapper, baldies down here. Use it to chuck lures, jig or bottom bash.. I have mine spooled with 30lb braid. So.... yep, you can use it for everything :)

The stradic FIs are great
The stradic FIs are great value for money reels. 6000 is fine for all the things you mentioned, i'd probably run no more then PE 3 (30-40lb) on it though, since it doesn't have a huge capacity. Especially if you want to do a bit of bottom bouncing /jigging in deeper water. And yes they've got more then enough stopping power for a reasonable sized sambo or snapper in most cases.
