Steep point illegals
Well i just got back from shelter bay (steep point). Talk about blowin its tits off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Managed to get out a few days and get a few snapper Talk about right place at right time with my good camera! Well on thursday we were at camp sitting around having a yarn when i seen a landcruiser hammering throughh the dunes closly followed by police . I was thinkin " Woah! a pusuit!!! 10 min later i see this old boat coming into the south passage. 5 min later i see a airforce orion swoop down and get about 50-100 ft above it. The poice and customs came up the beach to us and ask if out dingy was ready to go if needs be haha. Must of going to borrow it haha. 20 min later a big tri hull cat came hammering up and got against it and stopped them. They towed it into shelter bay were it was out of the wind and chop. Made for some great shots for the last few days :)
More pics to come...

Enjoy that $200 mate, with camera gear like that it ain't gonna go far. How's the zoom on your lens, you almost got mug shots of some of the poor bastards! Maybe customs will shell out some coin too?

Good thinkin about customs. I might ring em aswell and se if they want some pics $$$$$$$
Neander : Fishing camped at shelter bay was not really my scene. I rather steep point cliffs etc. Thats the real "steep point " experience. Dragging fish up the side of the cliff is exciting and hardcore

Look at where the scum
Look at where the scum line is on the boat
Its sitting quite high out of the water, now
They would have been sitting offshore and come in the dark. Certain properties of the boat make it harder to locate by radar.
