Seakem JNT hooks size 18

Vs Tainawa mustard hooks . JNT have wider gap they cost $12 to $14 bucks per hundred. From Taylor’s marine . What we used when I fished with my son on pro boat around Abrolhos islands to Kalbarri. They caught everything from big tigers . Reds. Pinks , coral trout . Even that small marlin I put up years ago .and that huge Queensland gropper . Unreal local for dhues down to kgs . Cheap as chips . Invincible . Skipper was using singles .( big hanging baits ) whole calli squid with whole small fish over the top . Ruby’s and cod in deep water .excellent hook rate . I was using them double snell. Don’t know how to put pic on your post .

LJ you say they are $14 per hundred WOW last year i got a box of Tianawa 22's i think $58 not sure of the location but i thought that was a decent price. I will have to get my phone a friend helper to have a look at Taylors.

I have been on many charters and have seen lots of other hooks bent or broken, especially when deep dropping for 8 bar cod and ruby snapper. the Tianawa are proven. The JNT do look to have a much larger gap. It's true when sending a bait into 200M + you would want to put on as big a bait as possible, they work non the less.

Still didn’t bend or break in deep water .all hooks are good . It’s up to people’s preferences. I’ve got hundreds of different ones . All have there own purposes for different fish . 125 to 150 lb leader line (500 meters) I think it’s called 3 yachts . Dirt cheap at Taylor’s also . ( clear one) . huge packs of swivel on swivel packs cheap also. I also shop at my local store for squid jigs . Big bait circles. Konan hooks ect . More fancy type hooks .
