Anyone got some news on the salmon run?
I live in Dunsborough and have heard of a few smallies being caught locally, but how far south do i need to go to get amongst them proper-style?
i have a dinghy for augusta or windy harbour or whatever or can just beach it up from Yeagerup to Kilcarnup.
i much prefer catching salmon to floating around trying to find them so I'll drive as far as is necessary to get the best chance of some serious salmon action
any southerners got some advice for me please?

i would say the salmon will statr to appear in August within the next couple of weeks, altho i have not heard any reports thus far.
But i think last year they started showing around 15th Feb.

Drive
Take a drive over to Smiths beach during the day,if the pros are parked up in the car park the salmon are there. They usually hit there about a week before they show up in force at Rocky point and Bunkers bay
