Its really the weight of the fish that can be an issue not depth. I use the current release weight from 30m to 100m plus. For big fish ie Dhufish of a descent size say 10kg plus then you need to add on extra weights to aid the release weight to get the fish down and thats regardless of depth. Upnorth say in 40m of water i've had to use the release weight on bigger rankin etc and the same, had to add weight!
General rule for me & deckys, wind slow on small fish, wind slow on big fish if you tend to release. The release weight is a must, not only have on board but to "use"!
good vid! parts of the underwater shots where from the same camera as i use.. came up better then i thought. Its good to see release weights being used more often by more ppl!
