Recent Steep point trip pics

Went to steep point for 8 days at the end of June the weather wasn't really on our side , only got out 3 times but the fishing was ok , got a couple of nice reds , a few rankins , pearl perch , some good size spangos around 75 cm and heaps of pinkies, only got2 baldies but which was a bit odd as normally they are like blowies against the cliffs . Had fun on the 3 rd night when I broke a moring rope at 2am and had to rescue the boat before it washed ashore then blew a charge regulator on 1 motor so was waking up to flat batteries every morning

looks like a good trip none the less & at least you got a few feeds there.
WHen we camped on the beach there same thing happened- woke up the next day and one of the boats had lots the anchor rope- it had drifted overnight the whole way accross nearthose rocks. no damage luckily.

Not a bad haul
Good asortment of species there. Gotta love the old ironing board work a treat as a bait/cleaning bench.
Old fishermen never die they just smell that way.
