pretty sure fisheries & punch will see it as vindication, { to date no pics ,no proof =demersal decimated to an all time low & next round no choice but to extend ban same as cockburn crabs .

Seems plenty around
I went out yesterday from the river , fished solo in 10m drifting.Hooked 3 good pinkies in short order. First, around 75cm lost while netting alongside. Within minutes a 70cm and 65cm landed, so home for morning tea. Last few years has been much the same, as far as nearshore snapper. Hope to take another couple before the school holidays end and they need protection again. I posted a pic of the two I kep on the image part, as I can't figure out how to do it in this sort of post.
