newb to perth
hi there
new to perth moved here in feb from good old nz, 23yr male brought myself a 17ft mustang 70hp on the back, dont currently have my RST so looking for someone that is keen to teach me some boating/fishing tricks around here. been out a few times with my mums partners brother. just seeing if theres any one with there RST and knows there way around a boat thats keen to teach me a few things that would be great, all so need to have something to tow the boat with as havnt brought i car yet (boat was more important hahaha) i live in south freo. im happy to cover cost for fuel and what not in exchange for your knowledge , have a few rods but there pretty basic so if your got your own gear thats a bouns.
so if theres anyone out there thats keen to help let me no and well go from there.

Palmy north?
Spent 3 weeks in Auckland over Christmas / New year in 2000 getting a trawler ready to sail to Fremantle and it rained nearly every day, I'd hate to see what the south is like compared to that.

Palmerston north about 6 hr
Palmerston north about 6 hr drive south from Auckland! South islands better in summer but winter that's a different story! I lived in Auckland for about 4 years and it has some of the best fishing I've ever done!!

Visit
Would like to go back for a visit to have a good look round. We were tied up to the concrete loading wharf near Newhaven marina and that and the centre of Auckland are all we got to see, then 22 days of water for the trip back via Eden, Albany and a piss stop in Bunbury.

if you have the chance to go over for a hoilday do it mate you wont regret it, south island the best for sights and outdoors sort of thing, north island is more the city life i guess all depands on what your into!
