Just make sure it is a 406MHz as the 121.5MHz are being phased out.
The automatic ones are more expensive, they are the $500 - $550 ones you have probably been looking at.
And good luck getting a deal, as tried by many before you, there is apparently no money in them so they are what they are. But in reality, what price do you put on safety??
I got mine from there Adam, you just have to keep checking. I was looking for about two months and missed loads, when I was looking at this one the bloke had another call so I just threw him the cash.
