My Good Deed For the Day
Submitted by Bruce on Sat, 2013-11-23 15:31
Was just cruising around today at Pt Walter with the Jetski and some mates when a pod of dolphins came over for a play. Had a bit of fun then as i went to leave i saw another jetski with 3 blokes having trouble so went over to see what was going on. Turns out their ski rope got caught in the intake and had caused a bit of damage. Ended up hooking them up and towing them back to the Mossie Park boat ramp. My first tow on the ski
Was a bit disappointing that apparently a couple of boats left them because it was too 'far' for them to tow, and that even though we were towing, big boats still passed way too close (<10m).
Anyway all ended well and they were very appreciative

Good on ya. Im glad they
Good on ya. Im glad they showed some appreciation for your efforts.
I thought i did a semi-good deed last weekend when a bloke came up and asked to borrow a screwdriver as his boat had some trouble, mucked around, found one, gave it to him and had a chat then never saw him again. If your on here...Even if it was a rusted $2 screwdiver that broke when you were was using it, you should still bring it back.
