Streaming Video.

 

The vid should open up in a new window with in your browser.

 

We suggest those with a slow connection wait a few seconds before playing, to allow the video to buffer. Broadband users should be able to play virtually straight away.

Also, I suggest you put your headphones on and turn up the volume.

 

More vids and other stuff will be posted shortly. I know I've been slack this past 6 months but its because I've been busy with other things.

Top effort Andy.  Some great footage there.

Is it possible to have a choice of a higher resolution along with what you produced for the slow connections (like my homeCry).

Some of that footage deserves to be viewed at the best res available.

The file sizes can get pretty big and it then hinders streaming but we want to have higher res ones available too. Just how high a res is yet to be determined. Downloadable versions will be available in due course from the Video's page.
Right now we just want to test the capability of the streaming and the member's opinion of the new format.

That's what I was getting at on that other thred, about getting the music first then cutting the vid to hit the cues based on beat changes and such.
There are a lot of new vids in the can that we have been working on and will be released very soon.

An artist I downloaded from Jamendo. I've used a few of their tracks as they seem to have lots of tempo changes which work well with the vids.
Yeah, pretty "acid man", I'm a grey haired closet raver.Wink

Andy - if you want a good tune that most people wouldn't know that would fit really nicely with a fishing vid do a search for "passenger" by the Deftones. It was the song on one of the Great WHite free diving vids and was sensational. Probably a bit wider appeal than the drum & bass. Although I am partial to a little prodigy when jigging myself!

Unfortunately its not creative commons so we can't use it.

Yeah I hear you guys, but its a bit hard to find tracks that aren't copywrited and potentially can get us into trouble posting on websites, so we have stuck to the creative commons licensed stuff to avoid any legal issues. Problem with that is that its very limiting in terms of what we can use. Most of the vocals on creative commons music leaves a lot to be desired.
A few of the vids coming up use an assortment of styles but its the drum and base stuff that seems to go best with the action footage.
