Mandurah offshore fishing

Gday guys im heading down to mandurah over long weekend. Have never gone out of there chasing demersals just wondering if anybody willing to point me in right direction and what depths best to have a look around out there cheers for any advice

From the north end out of the marina I usually started about 8 nm out looking around on the contour lines. There is some good fish out there but it doesn't get that deep. 20 nm out and your only in around 50mtrs . Most of our fishing was done between 30 and 40 mtrs. If the Cray pots are out have a good look around them .

What size boat
Have a heap of marks out wide, 24odd nm from the cut otherwise out the cut and head SW until directly offshore from Oceanique in 38 - 40 metres, good mix of dhu,snaps and KGW

24 footer - gonna be going out of the cut so
will take your advice. Thanks Russ will def look for craypots out there too cheers

Home of the big dhu.
About as good chance as anywhere for that big dhu and some nice bycatch breaksea etc.
Further south the better 30m out to 65m
