Made up some christmas trees last night, came out pritty good ,now to try them out on some fish.

Good job paul, look pretty good, they should do good, especially on the SB's out here and up north again, i made a couple the other day, have a few more to do as well, get them ready for this season.

 one of the better small tuna lures IMO

Looked on ebay the other day ,some cheap lures ,break them up and use the heads might even try one for the old man dhufish,

yeah thats it, as i said to you up exxy, when we went to bluewater, theres not alot of the decent xmas tree lures around anymore and its not hard to make your own, fishcrazy is having good results with one he made as well, just get some good heads and fill them up with heaps of tinsel, look like a small baitfish more than alot of the other lures with plastic skirts.

yeah colin  theres many styles of head from bullet type to jet head type etc, i have a hex head one thats its one of the better i have used, but always worth experimenting with different styles.

Once the tinsel is glued to the head ,I got some braid and rapped it tight around the head, tied a knot and then put some glue over the top wih glitter in it. You can get the glue at the shops, five colours for two dollars.
