When i grew up we chased flathead and bream around the rivers and esturies all day.
There was an old italian guy "Franko" always was where the fish were ALWAYS.
I remeber he had time to talk to us a share his knowledge and even bait every now and then.
Times have changed now but he was our local Hero.

Bob's father
5 kids all brought up to fish for the future, only catch what you need to eat. Good burly maker, good all round fisherman, good advice Bob still uses today. He was a very wise man but never went deep, just loved to potter around Mandurah, Horicks Beach and Port Gregory.

he has tought me a heap and he's always freindly to give a hand with everything. was therte one day and we both tought these 2 kids to cast well. he has a cracking rosewood alvey aswell ;)

Casey jones crazy old dutch man fishes off ocean reef marina Showed me how to catch herring when I was about ten. Im forty somthing now and hes still down there .Grumpy old bugger now ,but he still remembers me.But he'll still cut my line if I cast over his .

Those people that try somthing new, may not work this time but that's how we learn
or we would all have the same gear at the same spots doing the same thing at the same time.
