Hi folks, I've been out of the game for a while now due to work commitments & stuff & I seem to be a tad behind on the licence issuse.
Can someone simply tell me, do I need a licence to fish from my boat?
Does everyone need a licence to fish from my boat?

...is when the "Fishing from a Boat" licence is required. Only one person on the boat needs to have the licence, but but in that instance the entire crew is restricted to one individual bag limit. For example, four people, one licence, only one dhufish allowed to be taken. Or 30 herring. More fish equals more licences (although I should mention that there is now a boat limit for dhuies...2)

From December 16, there is a requirement to carry a release weight when line fishing from a boat for demersal scalefish in the West Coast Bioregion.
