Knot Sealer Recommendations

I have been using super glue to tidy up my FG knots but have seen a number of members suggesting either "Knot Sealer" or "Rubber Cement"
I would appreciate any recommendations on brands and where these can be found.

Hey I curious why the super glue or sealer at all.
Iv'e been using FG for many years with no problems withour sealer.

Tag ends
FG does not require a sealant but I like to have the small cut off tag ends neatly smoothed against the line.

Medical superglue - Histacryl. Designed for more organics etc so by far the best "Superglu"
Only used on a Bimini twist in braid to leader to smooth it out and it works a treat.

Only ever used it for the same purpose of laying tag end down flush. I don't think it makes a difference in strength based on using FG and PR alot, but the durablity of the knot is better. I tend to use reverse albright to braid bimini and wonder if somethong can be applied to fuse the knot more. Interesting topic and good luck.

I use quality super glue and
I use quality super glue and never have any problems with it. Loctite 406 is very good I use it on my coral farm to attach new coral cuttings it sets permanently under water no problem. I use my fg knots for beach casting so loose or unraveling tags from the 1/2 hitches will upset smooth casting. Only just glue the tag end down with a tiny amount of glue massaged in and it works a treat.
