You would have to go at least 50 nautical miles west of Kalbarri to get to that depth of water, probably further. I've caught goldband 60nm WNW of Kalbarri, but thats only the outside edge of Big Bank, around 65 fathoms (120metres) . Definitely not small boat country.
How long ya up this way for mate? Stopping in G-town on the way back south?
My break starts in 13 days 17 hrs & was looking at racing strait up to kalbarri for the grandparents Bday... might have to bring the boat if the weathers nice
You need to put in some serious kilometers to get to good ground. I was up there a few weeks ago, did good on dhuies, baldies, pinkies, reds and red throats
